    Oh how pretty! It looks like "Sunburst" to me!! I love that pattern and bought the book to make it, but got distracted by other projects. :roll:

    Oh my! I have been working on a blooming 9 patch for ages - over last winter, Enough said.

    I love the fabrics that you chose. Your quilt is terrific! This is not an easy pattern to sew and you did it beautifully.

    The version that I am doing is "FLORAL VIGNETTES".

    I have a sunshine and shadow UFO. All the blocks are done and it's been sitting for a year! You've inspired me to get going on it again.
    I hope mine turns out as nice as yours! Your mom will love it! Are you going to tell her it's hers before or after she quilts it?

    This is absolutely stuning. Your use of colour and tone is wonderful, do you have art training? If not, you have a natural eye. And good luck to your Mum for hand quilting batiks. :shock: :-D
