Steve...what is the width of the stripes.....and the size of the center block......can you please help me..............I found the site that it's on but no instructions.....I'm lost with ot instructions....

Steve....I found that site....the pattern that I got off another site was called TRUE LOVER'S KNOT......Like your better ....the stripes are only
1 1/2" in width....yours looks easier...Thanks again....sorry to be such a bother...Nancy

Steve....I'm soooooooconfused....you named your True Lover's knot also.....but, the site you gave with the block on it is called in the interlaced blocks....which is your?????????? please inform if it's the True Lover's kKnot with directions.....

Sorry, I got the name from a link on this site, though yes they do call it "interlaced block" on quilter's cache.

Four of the blocks made exactly as they instruct will give you the complete pattern. I used only two colors (see previous page on this subject and post). Any problems, I'm here to help. :D

Yes, though I got my recipe from quilter's cache and altered it to the two colors.

I just got a hold of a copy of "Celtic Pieced Illusions" by Karen Combs and am fascinated how many knots can be made, and easily. The thing about her book that I don't get is how she has a chapter on color, and runs on about its importance, but then, for the most part, I don't like the choices at all in her quilts. Matter of taste I suppose.

Thank-you sooooooooomuch for all your info that you gave me............I can't wait to start....I was really puzzled with the true love's knot and the interlaced pattern....almost the same thing but a little different in piece sizing.......thanks once again...can't wait to get started.....in working on a quilt made with the Hayes corner block......very nice....on got it on quilterscache........great site.....talk again soon.......
