Ok HONESTLY! I don't care for the color combo BUT I can't do anything like that at all!! My boys would also love it! The critters on it are amazing!!

If you hate it, make a tote bag out of it for market and keep it in your car for when you're short a shopping bag.

I think it is just probably outside your comfort zone for quilts. I definitely think you should keep it because it has a story. What about putting it the center of a quilt backing and make the top from scraps? I don't think it is ugly either. Let us know what you do with it.

How about turning it into a king-sized pillowcase?

Use it for part of a backing.

I'm on the fence, but there are so many ideas to "fix"it.
Someone once had a purse she made that she didn't like, she set it out and decided the first person to comment on it would receive it as a gift. can't wait to see what you do with it.
I do like the round robin idea!

I say, continue with borders, practice your applique here and there and donate finished practice piece to charity.

Don't know what size it is, but it would be an excellent charity quilt. I make lap quilts for vets in a veterans hospital. A quilt like that would keep the whole room busy just looking at the designs. Very interesting. Congratulations on finishing the applique. Love the frogs.!

Took me two days to make this ugliness! Is there anything I can do to save it or should I just take it apart and use the squares in something different like pillows for kids or something like that?
