Maybe you need to step away from it for awhile and then go back to it. It will turn out nice, you wait and see.

Another way to look at it is how much joy it can bring to somone. It would make a lovely lap quilt for a shut-in. If you definitely decide to scrap the project, send it to me. I'll finish it up for a charity.

You could give it to me and I'll finish it-- I love the colors and the design. The white keeps it from being too busy.

I am doing one just like it. Though I am putting sashing around each block to separate the "V"s out. Mine is being done in reds and pinks with whites, greens, browns with pink or red in them. Really pretty as I post them up on the design wall. The sashing will be white, I think.

I am like you that I find it very hard to use scraps but since I have a whole pile of strips cut now I plan to just sew them for charity quilts.

So I thought I'd make this, and I don't like it. Is this how it's supposed to look?
I'm about ready to scrap this one too!
I really like what you have started there. I find when working on a quilt top I don't like, to reserve judgement until after it's quilted. It's amazing what quilting it will do for it. ~Shirley

I love it. Walk away for a day or so and then take another look.

Don't give up. It looks great and will look even better when finished.
