Twister for my nephew and his wife
#47
no tool required?
This is the 2nd twister I've done, and both times I made my own template. The first time, I used some heavy cardboard. This time, my DH cut me a piece of plexiglas.
Just make a square of the size you want to use, then measure in from each corner the same amount, something less than 1/2 the length of the side, and make a mark. Then draw intersecting lines from each corner to the opposite. You end up with an X that is "offset". (In this picture, A, B, C and D are equal distance.)
If you use cardboard, you'd need to cut out a little hole right where the lines intersect, so you can aline the lines on your template with the seams of your blocks underneath.
