Those are both very nice Wendy!!! I have been collecting leaf patterns for paperpiecing but haven't done anything with them yet!! Thanks for the inspiration!

Just cruising thru older posts, don't feel like sewing today (?) and found your beautiful maple leaf quilt. I've been collecting leaf motif fabrics for 5 years, you have inspired me to start making the blocks.! :-D

Gayle, You can. These patterns are not hard to do at all. If you're intimidated by color choices, then just find a picture of a quilt that you really like and use those colors. I still struggle trying to find just the right color combinations but I find a quilt that I really like and use those same colors. Maybe that will help you too.

These quilts are beautiful. My favorite color is purple and I had some of that exact fabric. Good job.
