All the quilts are pretty. I love what I call old time quilts, that have alot of color and mixed up pieces. In the end they will all keep you warm.

Even if you think it is ugly, it will keep someone you love warm and thinking of you. Go for it and finish.

I think it would make a great backing for another quilt. Or layer it, tie it and give it to a charity. But for those of us who love scrap quilts I think it looks pretty good.

You should finish it and then donate it to a shelter or hospital

Nancy, I must agree your quilt top is pretty darn ugly! What fun as I know if we all haven't done yet, at some point in our quilting careers we will! Thanks for sharing. I'm really looking forward to seeing some other uglies, too. I haven't been quilting long enough to have me one but it's only a matter of time'

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder (just like beauty). Here's mine. I don't show the back of it, but that is ugly too... it's a white fabric with large black dots. I used it because I didn't think I would use it for anything else.

The truth is that I learned some new techniques as I made this one, and I love the size and warmth of it (even if I don't find that it is beautiful)!

I love all your 'ugly' quilts. My sister made one a couple years ago that she thought was ugly too. I loved it and she gave it to my church qltg group to donate - We raffled it off for Mission Trip and made several hundred dollars off it and winner was thrilled! Just remember...."Your trash is someone else's treasure!" Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I don't actually see ugly. I see a work of art that only the maker can achieve. I actually quite like the colours. Sorry! I beg to differ on the point of 'ugly-ness', if that makes any sense!
