This is my first attempt at making a clothes line bowl -- have to say that I think it's really UGLY

If I make another one, I'll use fabric that doesn't have a big all over print....

It looks great, put some lemons & limes in it and the colours will be perfect!

The hardest part is getting it going -- Of course I started it counter clock wise and then realized I had sew to it clock wise (duh)...

Looks great to me. I didn't know you could make those at home, just thought they were factory made. Where can I find the instructions?

I like Thimblebug's suggestion of putting colorful, bright fruit in it. I think it looks great.

That turned out great. I learned to make them at a quilt retreat two years ago. I have since made coasters for all of my quilting friends a small gifts. I always have a cold drink near my sewing machine or where I am quilting. The coaster keeps a puddle from forming.
It is fun to see what you can make from scraps. The hardest part is starting and stopping.
