Mine don't count in the vote, but I had to share some from my vintage collection. Why do I keep these?!! Icky!

PamH, did you notice 1+2 = flower on your fabric? That cracked me up.

Everyone sees fabric and colors diffrently. What one hates, another will love. I buy things I like at the time, but later when I'm sorting for a project, I toss some aside and put them in a tote labeled 'What was I thinking" !! I make lots of nursing home quilts, so now and then I'll use one of those and it's not so bad after all. You can't imagine what the older generation thinks is pretty!! We let each resident chose among the pile, and this last time the first quilt chosen was one I made with rooster feather fabric. You just never know.

The grab bag pic is only a small sample ... It was one big box of butt ugliness.

You'll have to wait to see the uglies people sent because I asked them to. I don't want to spoil the surprise. I don't know how long it's going to take to find "homes" for some of them ... but i am bound and determined. And still welcome donations.

It's easy to walk past the uglies in the store. Once I have them in hand, though, my mind turns to the possibilities. It's hard to see from the photos, but those barfoulous goldish browns actually work with the hideous hawaiian orchids.

You have to see them in person to truly "appreciate" them. And yet ... I love them. Go figure.

Okay Patrice, I have batiks that exactly match your Chicken on drugs, no kidding! That's the crazy things about those batiks you can find colors to match them in all sorts of crazy ways... Hmm that reminds me I have one, that all alone looks terrible, but match it up properly... LOL

OK, earlier in the thread, I thought Pam H had the ugliest won hands down, (sorry Pam), however....as you all added to this, now I'm not so sure. Chele- you made me gag, Patrice- you definetely learned a grab bag lesson and purpl7...well...you may just have my vote for winner.

I'd add my fabric to the mix, but I haven't been quilting very long and don't have a huge stash. What I do have is VERY hard to get to and I know nothing will beat what I've seen here. Excuse me....have to go worship at the "porcelain god" after peeking at some of these again
