I agree that it looks modern and vintage at the same time. Not sure how I feel about the contrast, but I have a feeling it will look nice on the bed. To each her own! (I actually like the fabrics in the circles a lot…)

I think it looks like a modern quilt and you did a great job. I agree it is hard to work on a quilt that someone else
picked out and that you do not love. Pat yourself on the back for persevering!

It's very unique and looks like a difficult project. It only matters that the recipient likes and I don't see why they wouldn't love it. Congratulations for finishing it.

It looks very "artsy" to me. The colors aren't ones that I would have chosen either but I'm sure your niece will love it.
