    I don't think it's ugly, or that the yellow is too bright. It's fine. Beautiful. Don't tear it apart!

    I think it looks ok but a scrappy border would look even better.How about a piano key border? Post when you finish.........

    Yellow is my favorite "go-to" color for joining blocks of scrap fabrics, your picture pleases me!! piecefully, the old one
