    I am so glad I grew up before anyone I knew ever heard of that stuff; we were too busy getting married and having babies. I never even knew about it until the 70s. I thought they were talking about MaryJane, the nougat candy, for a long time, LOL. Ah innocent bliss, when kids actually had a childhood. I don't even know what a "burn test" is to this day.

    it is probably False Aralia, but the makers knew it would make people think of pot.

    You can see in these pix that false aralia has more spikes and leaves than hemp.

    Actually, a "burn test" is a fabric thing, not a pot thing.....if you ever doubt the fiber content of a fabric, burn a bit of it. 100% cotton burns into an ash that falls off and can be easily smudged with your finger. Polyester or a poly blend leaves a hard burned edge on the fabric and smells bad.....

    Unless as a pretty naive kid of the 70's there IS a burn test for pot and I missed it somehow????
