Another great example of the partnership between piecing and quilting. Charisma, I really like how your quilting highlights the pieced/applique work that Jill did. It enhances, not detracts, from the wonderful piecing work.

And Jill, this is quite a beauty. I hope you're entering it into a contest. I deserves loads of awards.

One more thing, Charisma, I often wish you would include before photos of the quilts. It would be great to compare the unquilted version with the final version.

Jill, your quilt is just drop dead gorgeous to begin with. I LOVE that blue fabric, it has such depth and vibrancy and your applique work on it is just perfect. As a handquilter AND a LAer I know how difficult it can be to take a quilt you had destined for handquilting and entrust it to a LA quilter.

Charisma did right by this quilt and it so thrilling to see your happy post to her photos. The choices you both made in collaberation on this stunning quilt put it right over the top. Feathers and leaves were the perfect foil. The applique just pops now. I agree with another poster, you should enter this beauty in a show or two.

Simply breathtaking.
