So glad your quilt went to someone who will really appreciate it. It's a great quilt.

Sure glad it ended up in a happy home. I think you did the right thing... Some people have no idea or even a clue what goes into to making a quilt and how we really hate to give them away.....lol

You are a gal after my own heart for taking it back and with so much dignity. Having received tears from the very appreciative girl makes all your work that much better. That is where the love is.

Some people just don't get it.. that is too bad... and some young people just are not old enough to realize a treasure when they have one in their hand! Some grow up and learn, sadly others do not.. I'm just glad you got your quilt and that it is with someone who will love it and treasure it. We should all take lesson and as sweetly as possible ask like you did.. good for you.. thanks for sharing.

I had the same experience a while back. Co worker wanted a quilt with colors that matched a department store theme. I found the theme, matched the colors but she was less than thrilled. I sispect she wanted something specificially from the department store. I wish I had asked the questions you did. I would rather take it back then think it might end up at Good Will because it wasn't what she wanted.

I am so glad you did not give her another gift, I have posted this before. What a rude person and I agree her parents apparently did not stress good manners!!!!!
