First let me tell you how grateful for your son in Iraq, and how much I give you credit for being so generous with your son. I thank GOD every day my son has never had to serve over seas.

He has been to India and there is a lot of fighting over there murders right out side his company. He was in Momby 1 week before the killing. He would have been right there in the hotel. He left for India another time 2 days after the Sumani. He was in Penn. the same week the children were killed.

I guess as Mothers we have to leave it in Gods hands.
Your quilt is stunning. When you send it to him. Give him a big Thank you from Me and my family. Hugs

I really like your quilt. The piece work and quilting are both very well done. I think it is good your son will be wrapped in a quilt made by his Mom with love. God bless you both. The link you provided was not for a tube quilt but an Eleanor Burns block, it was a nice block but not the one you made.

Beautiful. We'll be praying that it keeps him wrapped in your love & safe. One of my sons has been to Afghanistan and also 2x to Iraq. Son-in-law was in Iraq & is being deployed again in June. My daughter & I are planning a quilt for him to take this time as it does get cold at night

your quilt is beautiful and your son will love its comfort, warmth and love. God Bless Him and thank him for his service to our country. I pray for our troops nightly for them to stay safe and come home soon.
