Those are beautiful QUILTS! I don't know what they are talking about I feel that quilts are not based on size, but on the process

Thats just wrong !!! A quilt is a quilt no matter what the size is. It's scary that there are enough quilters in the guild that don't consider a wall quilt a quilt!!! Maybe time for some new blood in the group.

Gorgeous! Miniatures that are so hard to get into scale and quilted so wonderfully! I was taught by two grandmothers and countless others that to be a quilt a creation had to have a backing, a batting, and a top stitched together as a sandwiched layer that would not come apart. Toe Catcher stitches were removed and redone, but the result was a quilt. To paraphrase Dr. Seuss ..."A quilt is a quilt no matter how small!" Thanks for venting and sharing your beautiful creations. I need to try my hands at that for a couple of doll houses I am doing. I can't afford to purchase such items and it will mean more if I make them.

absolutely gorgeous. But if they're not quilts, what are they?

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it's A DUCK!

I agree with everyone here...your quilts are beautiful and they *are* quilts....just out of curiosity, if the guild doesn't think they are quilts, exactly what are they then?
