    Can't figure out how you got from step one to step two. Please clarify. I'm a new quilter and I can't figure it out

    I have to play with this design soon! What do you all think, is one inch better, or one & a half? Just curious....

    Use what ever size strips you want, there is no limit on the size. Have fun with it.

    The small strips are 2in together or 1in each. The total block size is 6 1/2.
