I'm working on a king size version like it right now. Mine is in scraps of beiges and browns. I'm thinking it is called an Arrowhead block.

I have no idea about block name, but I sure do like it. Can't wait to see how this turns out. The other quilt with similar colors is just beautiful!

Well there is a pattern out there for this block and it is called an arrowhead block. This is the first time I have accidently came up with a design that wasn't original. Oh well maybe next time! LOL!! Because this design belongs to someone else I will not do the tutorial on it, it wouldn't be right. Sorry!!

Thank you! You were very right. I looked it up and sure enough it is arrowhead design.
