like the pillows a lot but it needs more "somethings". A wall-hanging with those colors would be dandy!

I think you definitely identified that extra color in the room is needed. The bed runner and wall hanging would balance out the room. Let us see the after picture, too.

I like the pillows and think the added touch of a runner and wallhanging would really set them off.

Oh no, lol, my DDH is wonderful and knows I'm a much happier person when I'm creating something! After 33 years of marriage and my many, many projects of one sort or another...he's gotten quite used to this! ;-)
