The bargello top is very pretty, and I would just do the simple borders in photo 1. Let the bargello shine!

I like the first one. The second is a possibility if the cornerstone is a miniature bargello.

I like the first border, too. The bargello is so beautiful that it would be a shame to divert the eye from it. I think the corner pieces also divert attention.

I like the second last one with the little strips of bargello. What a gorgeous quilt.

I like the simple boarder with the light and dark...it really sets off the bargello :)
