    These are beautiful quilts!

In terms of a wow factor, think about using additional colors. Blue is calming in practically all of its incarnations, and especially in florals, so using all blues and whites pretty much guarantees a calm quilt. I always offset blue fabrics with pink fabrics to add a little dynamic "tension". You might look to add pink florals to your stash, and also fabrics that have both pink and blue flowers (so you have some transition fabrics to work with).

It seems to me that many of your florals are of large flowers in one color. Try adding in some smaller sized florals, and also some non-floral fabrics for variations in texture. For example, even if you wanted to stick with all blues, some ocean blues and sky blues would add a lot of textural variation.

Or, consult with my sister. She consistently comes up with Wow! quilts using fabrics I would never have considered purchasing, much less combining into a quilt. I still haven't figured out how she does it.......

Since you asked, I think the styles of the fabrics are too close to each other. A stripe, plaid or some other geometric would have done a lot for either quilt. If you can afford to have them longarm quilted, a lot of feathering would do wonders for them.

I forgot to add, you did a really nice job on them!

    You did a beautiful job.

Prism99 has the same ideas that I would give also. I usually use 8 or 9 fabrics, but we all have our own preferences which is great!

    Keep up the good work!

You did well with both quilt tops. I think on your first one, the colours didn't stand out, but by putting the white around the trips has separated the colours, and it looks great. Well done.

Love them both and wow wow for the both of them. I think soemtimes when you work on a quilt you get saturated with the fabric. Maybe if you lay it aside and you look at it again you can see what we see.

I'm lost I don't see anything wrong with either one of them.

The are both beautiful. You did a nice job on both of them.

If you want to send them to me and I'll take care of them for you.

    Blue is my favorite color.
