    Depends on what your flower looks like :D I'd vote for the feathers in running in the diagonal white areas too, opposite direction in the colored diagonal logs.

    Do you have any quilt preview paper...the kind you draw on with a dry erase marker? You can try them out that way.

    I think the quilt is beautiful and the bed too! Flowers would be a nice addition; and cannot wait to see the finished product.

    My choice would be feathers but you haven't given us a taste of what your flower looks like. It might be just the shot.
