    Oh My!! Those are so pretty. I used to do crosstitch but it sort of went by the way-side when I started quilting. I never ever made anything as elegant as you have shown us here!

    I used to do counted cross stitch too, but for me it doesn't bring the satisfied feeling of creativity because you are just following exactly someone else's direction and following their creativity ...... unless you were designing your own.

    I get so much more satisfaction from quilting because there is so much more possibility for creativity with picking out fabrics, combinations, quilting designs, etc.

    Your cross stitch work is exquisite, beautiful.

    Thank you all. I really love counted cross stitch because of its preciseness. I guess that is my mild-OCD popping up. I could do it when the boys were little and still keep an eye on them, and could even take it with me if I was going to be sitting at someone's house for very long. Can't do it much any more because I believe it caused arthritis or tendonitis in my left thumb from holding the hoop for so many hours.

    Absolutely gorgeous!!!! I yet find time to do a bit of CCS and it is so relaxing for me. I am in awe of your work though. Thank you so much for sharing, they are spectacular.

    Those are stunning. I could never master the stitches but you obviously did. Thanks for sharing with us.
