All are beautiful, and it looks like you thought carefully about just what to do for each recipient! You've been a busy lady--all that quilting doesn't leave much time to get into trouble, does it?

The Patched Into the Thirties started off as a copy of one I saw in a LQS about five years ago. Then I forgot the pattern, so I just made up something I thought would look nice. It worked well enough. The square has two rows of triangles around it. The sashing for the nine patches was cut at one inch. I felt the nine patches needed framing before shashing with the green fabric. If you wanted to make one, you can use your own measurements.

The prize quilt is fromLinda's Quilt Shop, Inc. in Denton, Texas. It is named Bluebonnet Fields. It was not large enough for my bed so I enlarged it. The pattern did not have any of the embroidery or the fence. I thought it looked plain and decided to jazz it up. I don't know if the pattern is still available.

Thank you for you kind words.

I try to make a quilt centered around things they are interested in or with fabric I know they like. It does get hard sometimes coming up with a quilt uniquely theirs.
