Ok, hubby thought it would be a great idea for the ladies to have their own aprons at Thanksgiving Dinner and figured I could make some nice ones. What he failed to tell me, was there will be 6 of us and he already said the aprons would be made. UGH!!
So, I have dilligently been sewing/embroidering. I even learned how to use my ruffler foot! :)
So far, I only have one done. We had company show up unexpectedly, so it would have been rude of me to "hide" in my room while they were here.

Yes, that is fabric piled on the floor that needs to be put away.

    LMAO!!

Dawn the pattern I pretty much made myself. It's pretty easy, even if you don't have the Ruffler foot. I decided at the last minute to put the towel on it. One thing I don't have on the apron is a pocket and NO..I'm NOT putting one on! lol

    Very nice aprons.

Don't you just love it when our loved ones put us in these positions?

This is just darling! And I love that fabric!
My name is Mary Jane and I'd like velcro under the towel so I could take it off to wash it...
A Christmas pattern would be very nice...

Oh, I need an extra long tail cuz I have a BIG waistline

It was actually pretty easy once I figured out HOW to hook it up! Only thing I don't like is....having to keep tightening the screw for the needle. As long as I remembered to do that, I was fine. If not, after a couple of aprons, the needle would fall out, didn't matter how tight the screw was.
For the towel, I just hand pleated that and pinned it in.
