I decided I would do hunter's star, which i've always wanted to do. I just hit "confirm payment" on six more yards of it (plus the initial one I purchased). Found it for $7.65/yard! (Google is your friend.)

Now I have to select and purchase a contrasting fabric. I know you veteran stash-hounds will guffaw, but I've NEVER purchased this many yards all at once. I'm sweating bullets here...

Oooh, favoritefabrics, I hope the yard I purchased was from the old bolt. The new bolt photo you posted is not at all the same.

It reminds me of the mistic hills of Ireland and the waves crashing at the bottoms of the cliffs of Moore as we walked the ledges. Something with fairies

How about putting a frame around it? It's pretty enough to be a piece of art work!

Received my yard today. It's not at all like the original photo I posted. It's still pretty though. Just not nearly as "jewel-y".

I hope to find someone selling it who has a bolt of the original colors.

I love it. I would probably use it in appliqued flowers, or Mariner's Compass points.
