I agree, I would take that piece and match it with several more pieces of batiks and make a bargello.. oh the colors in there that would be beautiful.. not sure how much you have but if there is enough i would also add it to the border...

I'd just buy a few yards of it and put it in my stash to look at fondly thinking one day I'll find the perfect use for it.

there's a quilt named jiggle and jump, that is made from plaids and coordinating solids.

I think your fabric would look great in the pattern.

(posting so I have something to come back to in *my pages*-I will look it up.)

I would buy atleast 5+ yds of it, and pet and stare at it daily until the right pattern and other fabrics came along :D:D:D
I LOVE that fabric, can you tell?

A stained glass quilt comes to mind. Also it could be used as the fabric that you set the squares into of a cathredral window quilt to make it look like the leading. Check out eddie's tutorial on this in the tutes section.

If I had it, I would hope to make something very pretty with it. Just beautiful colors.

Depends on how much of it you have. Anything from a bow tuck purse to a queen size quilt. That could be the shades of the ocean. Now you need the shades of the beach. Beautiful fabric.

That's gorgeous

Keep it until I found the perfect project for it. Sometimes it takes awhile, but I usually find a "perfect"project for it.
