wow I have one that I use daily, looks just like only it is a lot more worn than this one ,but it started out looking just like yours, mine is a 1410, don't know how old it is but I wouldn't trade it for a new one, it will do just about anything I ask it to. Have made many a quilt on it. it is my understanding that Janome made these machines for Sears

That looks like my first Kenmore. It is now about 30 plus old. I used it for years. It is a workhorse of a machine. Your Mom will love it.

I have a machine just like this one. I lost all the attachments in a move several years ago. I have tried finding more but they are not to be found. This is my favorite machine so I am heart broken.
