    I agree, I like it but if you want more contrast add some sashing in the beige color with corner stones in the deep blue.

    I also like the subtleness of the colors. I think if you put a solid sashing between the blocks and a small solid border then add the 2nd color as a larger border it would look good. You did a great job both in picking the colors and in making the block.

    Finish it. The pattern and colors are subtile thus giving it a calming effect.

    What would I do without all you guys? You are so great with all your opinions and even better with the encuragment!

    Here are 2 blocks. They are not put together yet - so maybe sashing later but I think your right - it is not as bad as I thought

    I like the fabrics perhaps if you find an almost solid of the cinnamon thats in the dark blue it may break it up and work? keeps me posted

    I agree keep working on it and once you have put it together the way you like it best add contrast with appliques or other embellishments-maybe yoyo flowers or something like that. Once it is done you will love it!

    I think I would reverse the fabrics for the blocks on each side. I think it would give it great contrast. I really like the two fabrics together.

    I really, really like the monochomic look and I love the fabric. I think it will be beautiful on a bed if that is what you choose to do.
