WOW! Great repair job. You would never know there had been a hole there.

What a great save. I would never know that it was a patch. Thanks for sharing your process with us.

Sometimes it's hard to figure out how to repair something when all you can see is the hole. I recently repaired a knitted blanket for a friend and I'm not that great a knitter, but I took it step by step and the fix turned out pretty good.

I know - people just don't appreciate them.
Her grandmother and I were both upset about the hole.
I don't think people realize the time and energy that goes into a quilt.

    Great Job on the repair.

NOTE: Whenever I gift a quilt I use all the lefover fabric to make a pillowcase with drawstring. I send instruction on how to stuff the quilt into the bag and that the bag has to be washed each time the quilt is washed and in the same load. This will keep al the fabric on the same page as the quilt and if repair is needed the fabric will be the same. This feature of my quilting has saved many a quilt from a bad life.
