You can also use it as a tracing box..Just put one of those battery push lights under it and trace away!! Oh well we will see going to finish up the quilt top this weekend and try it out!!
Total cost..$19.27!!!
What a clever idea and resourceful too...good job!

You did a fantastic job! I have a 24x18 extension table and my quilts will catch on the edge if I'm not careful. Really have to keep stacking your quilt up in advance. I keep a fold up card table on my left but it's several inches shorter than my table. I have to keep stacking as I sew.

Ditto! -- I have the doll rods and the glue gun. A trip to Home Depot is next. Thanks!

you girls are just to smart, WTG... Diannemc, you mentioned you wish it were thicker, Maybe at a later date buy another and glue on top of one you have. Guess you would need to sand pillers down a little to adjust for height. :)

Good for you! I paid $90 or so for a plexiglass insert for my Babylock Quest Plus for my Horn cabinet. Stupid, b/c it comes with an extension table just like the one you made, with markings, to boot, and I could have just used that and adjusted the machine platform to the right height. Duh! I won't make that mistake again. You could do this for extra $$, charging less than the top prices, but enough for a profit for you.
