very cool. I paid 80 dollars for one, now I have a different machine and it doesn't fit.

It also helps to tape plexiglass with masking tape when cutting it. I make lot of my own templates useing plexiglass,such as squares dimonds,triangles etc.

I can't claim credit for putting the light under it for a tracing box.. I heard it somewhere...I had made one out of wood but wasn't smooth enough...I just hope it works!!

Perhaps you could buy another 1/4" piece and glue to the top to make it thicker? I don't know how these table work; just a thought on how to make it thicker.
