this is D9P quilt top I'm making for a christmas present for a dog lover, of course! Could use suggestions for border. Have plenty of fabrics used left. Thanks in advance for looking and appreciate advice. Hugs and happy quilting to all!

I was thinking of red (orange?) or brown and red. Or gold and then brown or the dog fabric.

What a fun quilt. I love that dog fabric.
Personally, I'd go with a golden brown border, very thin, and then a wider border in the orangy brown and use the stripe or dark brown for the binding. We all see things so different. I'd be afraid of a white border with so many other darker colors. The quilt is going to be great whatever border you choose.

I think I would use all the solid colors in the border in blocks (rectanular) and bind with the sripe. Or a solid border of one color and bind in stripe.

What a great quilt. I would do a thin dark border and then use the orange or gold with the stripe as the binding. I think white would detract from the quilt and the dogs.

Very nice. I'm a dog lover. I looked as close as I could and didn't see any Airedales in that quilt. I think I have that fabric (no Airedales). I used it for a quilt for a 'mutt' rescue.
I would like to see about a two inch black border and then another wider border of red.
