    I've only ever seen 3 in my yard at one time. And never more than 1 at the feeder. They fight even though there are plenty of feeding spots on the feeder!

    You obviously love photography as well as quilting...just like me...have you thought about putting some of these shots on fabric and making a quilt of your trip? Thanks so much for sharing!

    Actually I have thought of that. Right now, however, I'm trying to get the umpteen quilt tops I have made finished! (This plan was already interrupted when I got infatuated with the twister tool!)
    I wish digital cameras had come along when I was younger and could see better! This trip was a great photo shoot...I got some great pix of raptors, including crested caracara, lots of shore birds and even pretty wildflowers. I tell people digital "film" is cheap.
