Thanks everyone-just noticed I'm holding the pink one upside down LOL.
Dglvr: The dog blocks are 6 inch squares, fussy-cut. I never realized how much fabric is wasted when you do that.
The fabric they sent wasn't great to work with-the edges frayed a lot; some pieces I had to topstitch after piecing but it's still a fun cause to work with.

i know Linda, who runs Quilts for Kids, and she is a terrific person who really appreciates how much time and effort it takes to make a quilt. They are pushing for 10,000 quilts to be delivered to hospitalized kids thru the Downy promotion and I think they are getting very close to goal.
