They will make a cute quilt. I have used some of mine, sometimes my Daughter gets them.

This is one of Bonnie Hunter's scrap patterns called Star-Struck. I used those little cut-off triangles for the border. You're not the only crazy one out there. They are really tiny, but cute.

This is adorable and using the cut offs in a matching doll quilt is a wonderful use of fabric.

Addressing the issue of getting bogged down, if you are enjoying what you do you will never be bogged down. imho, being bogged down for me would be making a California king size quilt. It is all in your perspective.

This is a good tip and you make two units at the same time.

. Love this, especially the border. I've been saving the cutoffs but now I have an idea what to do with them!

No my granny wouldn't have. LOL She didn't quilt but she did crochet and would not save the leftover yard/thread from a project.
