Ha! Love your siggie!
I think we come somewhat from the same mold except I could only claim the husband and animals!

I was born and raised with Holsteins, then Jerseys entered our lives and found my soft spot. I've been thinking about doing a Jersey, though their shading is not so simplified as the B+Ws! :)

Registrations ... nope! We always did pics! :) And yes, me too, my ♥ is still there on the farm!

Cows are gone. Now we have dorset sheep. We wanted to maintain the buildings and pastures and not be as labor intensive. Even traded the square baler for a round one. No more unloading bales for me.

We both work full time off the farm. I miss the day to day planning and working together. The just being on the same property...it's hard to explain. It's just a satisfaction of the heart.

I totally understand! The squares left very early in our farming life and we were one of the first with rounds. When we moved farms, that was one of the requirements that the barn could be converted to only use rounds! Best.Thing.Ever!!! :)

I had to wind things down when my husband took ill ... then later sold it all a few years after he passed. I still have my aggie connections to help my ♥ ... just not the same!

I don't think I could ever become a city girl! :)
