    a woven quilt - using 2.5" strips

I put together this top lately. It was tedious, I'll admit, but the end result was worth it.

I hope to quilt it soon.

The original pattern is a Moda one and they designed it for jelly roll strips. When I saw it, I thought it perfect for some of my 2.5" strips in my scraps bag.

I made this one an 8x8 layout for a queen sized quilt.

    Pattern is here:

Actually there are. Plus, a lot of shirts from the USA that I cut up (purchased at thrift stores or yard sales for $1).

Looks lovely. I have attempted a quilt that has a woven effect but I was working with larger blocks.

put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

What a pretty quilt top. Can't wait to see a picture when you've quilted it. Be sure to post a picture of it then.

Wow, I've never seen one. Nice job.
