Beautiful and so appropriate with the stars "shining" (that's the way I think of my deceased mom and dad, looking up to the sky).
It must have been very emotional to do.

What a treasure you have made for your Mum with your Dad's shirts. The quilt is beautiful & will bring warm memories for her each time she sees/uses the quilt. I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. This was a good thing you did with his shirts...a memory quilt for your Mum to cherish.

That's perfect! My mom gave all my Dad's shirts to a church member who had the same name and was about the same size. She did a double-take every time he wore one of the shirts.
Your solution was much better...kudos to you. I'm sorry about your Dad. They are so irreplaceable and missed so greatly.
