    Keep it and make either the same pattern again or another quilt using a different ruler.

    I have been thinking more on this. You made it, it is still yours. I think it would be wrong if you gave a significantly less good quilt instead. I tell my grands that a quilt is a hug you can carry with you. Make another but be sure it is a real hug for the new one.

    If you like it so much--- you need to keep it and no one will ever know it was meant for someone else.!!! Maybe you would like to make another one just like it.

    Until you gift a quilt it belongs to you. So if you want to keep it go ahead. BTW it's a very striking quilt

    its super cute! I can see why you want to keep it. I often have the same problem with quilts I make specifically for something. I'm going against the majority here though and saying....let it go.
