I agree with everyone. Maybe do different colors and decide which you like better, then give the other away.

I say keep and make him another one. He will never know the difference and probably won't care. Since he's the newest maybe he'll wait!

I want to keep every quilt I ever make, plus those tops I quilt for someone else. As others have said, quick make one for yourself. I donated my favorite quilt of all time for an auction, still haven't made it again.
