    A YBR for my mom.

I cut out this whole quilt while I was in Afghanistan and sent it home because I was too busy with other quilts. I just got done quilting it and will bind, wash and send tomorrow. My mom's favorite colors are blue and canary yellow. She is going to be sooooo surprised. I have a new stepdad sooooo....he has one coming too. Scrappy log cabin for him!

The first quilt I made was a lap-sized log cabin in these same colors. I love your pattern, color and fabric choice. Thanks for sharing.

What a sweet gift for your mom and a quilt for your stepdad will make him feel welcomed and loved. You did a great job, looks so soft and comfortable, your quilting looks good.

What a lovely surprise for your mother. It is beautiful and I too like the blue and yellow combination. I see tears when she opens it...tears of joy.

I love it! My bedroom is done in blue and yellow so you can see why I love it so much. You did a great job on it and I know your Mom will love it.
Families are like old quilts....although they tend to unravel at times...each can be stitched back together with love.
