My thought also. As to whether to go with 4 x 4 or more,
it all depends on how many blocks you have. The 4 x 4 block is a good start since you were never a "scrapy" quilter. I'd keep it managable so you can finish it before you decide to change your mind! :lol: :lol:

I like the gold at the bottom the best
it seam to make the colors pop more
The top one the dark brown is to soild
and the middle one blends wat to much
But do what you like

If you satrted with 2 in sqs you will need bigger than a 4 x 4 sq
1.5 x 4 = 6 = the 2 siade seams is 5.5 sq

Definitely the first, darker brown.

by 4 X4, I was referring to 4 squares by 4 squares ( total 16) not 4" X4".
