I don't know if it will help tech support at all, but yesterday, shortly after the site went down when you tried to post a quick reply it completely kicked you off the board. Now you have to post the quick reply then edit. Make sure you copy anything you have typed previously as all the wording disappears as soon as you post (before editing). I just tested the "Go Advanced" button and it is doing the same thing.

Try editing right away. Be sure to "copy" what you have typed, before posting and then if it does not show, you can just paste it in "quick Reply. It seems to work.

Default Post Quick Reply may be confused

There is some crazy stuff going on right now.

    Let's Talk about Borders!

This was my original post. "Another empty post for me. Can anyone see what the discussion is about?" After typing this response, and hitting "Post Quick Reply" there was nothing there. Since this had already happened to me a couple of times, I got smart and copied my response which saved it in my computer. Then I reinserted the saved response while in edit mode. Apparently I have to be in edit mode to post. What's going on?

And when I tried to copy and reply to IceBlossom, the Message said what I was trying to save was a duplicate of a post I had already posted, but it wasn't. It looks like it is the "Post Quick Reply" instruction that is confused.

Another edit: When I hit "post new thread" I got a blank message again (this one). I am doing the copy and paste before I try to post just to save my responses. Then I edit my post and past my original data back into the post. That works. SAVE appears to be the only way to actually post. I haven't tried Go Advanced.

Second edit: It isn't only this thread. I have seen the blank messages at least a dozen times in the last couple of days.

Since the board went down briefly yesterday it seems to be happening. I just posted a (text-stripped) new thread, and had to go back in and copy/paste into the post afterwards. Hopefully it's fixed soon!

    Yup, it just happened again!

Just tested quick reply and had to edit to get this to show up.

I'll be logging the other bugs reported here.
