Anoka Quilter, Don't let a small mystery UFO be hiding bother you. I'm sure I have 3-4 of her mystery projects I need to finish. I want to start on her #13, I have the fabric picked out but, I want to finish putting on 3 borders for a QOV top and take off a border and put on 2 more borders on another QOV top. Then I can finish a few more UFO projects. I have at least 6 projects I'm itching to get started or finished. Have fun sewing and on your vacation.

Retired teacher, I love the Swoon quilt. So very pretty. That's another UFO I hope to complete this year.

Must agree with you on that one Elly. Thanking my lucky stars I opted for a longer stitch length than usual as I had a feeling I might be pulling them out. I will not rush the sandwiching from here on out or think to myself as I did this time "that'll be good enough". Yeah, good enough wasn't nearly good enough! Lesson learned - another one - so it was a good experience in the long run.

Janice-- We all have those days... I've been known to quilt an entire practice piece without putting the presser foot down, looks great on the front, but what a mess on the back

Retired Teacher- beautiful scrappy swoon!

Happylab-- love the mystery train, I keep thinking about trying a mystery quilt and yours may just inspire me to jump aboard the next time one comes up.

Rob

Rryder, Judy's next mystery will be in September. They are a lot of fun. I love her patterns. I don't think there has been a single one I didn't like.

Cool, maybe I'll be far enough along with my WIPs and UFOs that I can jump on board. Does she post them here on the board, or do I go to another website to get her instructions?

FYI, Judy just finished a very pretty table runner mystery train #13. On this board. If you check it out, you will get a feel for what they are like. I like to follow along, but lots of times I enlarge the pattern, so it takes longer to complete the project.

I am so happy to post a finish. This one is called "Geheichnis fuer Mutti" which translates roughly to "Comfort for Mom" and it will head to Germany in the next box. I learned how to do the pattern on a craftsy class - it was so easy.

LOL, I guess today is going to be a sideways day. I have tried to straighten this pic out - it won't go.
