Cool quilts, Silliness. I particularly like the circular quilting on the last one.

Thanks for the pictures Silliness. It is always fun to see what everyone is doing.

I have to agree with what everyone else has said about the last one. The circular quilting really sets it off.

I'm working away on my UFO but wow, I only have the first 2 rows of 9P blocks together.. that's 216 2.5" squares in the first 2 rows. I think I am going to stop counting. LOL
Maybe I should pull out this table runner that is at least 7 years old and do that so I can for sure have my one done for July. The top is pieced so it just needs layered, quilted and bound.

I have all the strips cut for my pixel quilt and most of them sewn into sets and cut. I'm currently working on the specialty blocks where the different colors come together in the design. Here is a photo of some of my cut sets and the two background rows that are the top of the quilt.

Okay, this is me hopping on!! I'm Vovoa (Toni) and I would like to join all of you in finishing some of my UFO's. My only issue is getting my tops quilted. I'm on a fixed income (retired) and it gets really expensive for me. I've tried quilting them myself but get stressed and it's not fun for me. Anyways, here goes!!! Thanks everyone!

practice and easy does it will help with quilting your own quilts. I'm a novice quilter and followed harriet hardgroves suggestion and fmq'ed for 10 minutes everyday until i became comfortable with it. Now after about 1/2 hours practice on a given pattern I'm good to go.

Vovoa, Welcome. We can always use another person. We stop for new passengers. There are quite a few people here who can give you quilting advice, unfortunately, I'm not one of them. I'm struggling myself with it. However, as you have success, please do post pix for inspiration! Again, welcome.

Done!

This mini started as a maxi (bed size) in '95. It finally matured to "mini" size last year. Sometimes you just have do what the project wants you to do. I sent it to the fabulous Charisma for quilting...just to get it off the naughty list. So toot toot and woo hoo! Done!
