Back on January 1st I posted "I'm in" and haven't posted since. I have 3 finished UFOs so far - 3 that are done/done - quilted, bound, labeled. One is a wintery wall hanging, another is a twin size done in 30's repros, and the last is a Quilt of Valor that I pieced and quilted then handed off to someone who actually enjoys binding to finish. I'd post pictures if I could figure it out. I have 6 UFOs that I've worked on this year that are ready to quilt. For some reason I just can't get myself motivated to clear off the quilter and get to work on them.

Leta: That's a darling quilt for a little boy. No wonder he loves it!
Janice: I'm way behind, too. Having some health issues that have slowed me way down. But I do have a top from Judy's mystery #9 that is ready to be sandwiched. Has been a UFO about a year and I plan to donate it to Project Linus when completed. Two birds with one stone on this one! I'm just not able to work as fast as I want to and it is very frustrating to make plans and then not be able to follow through. Ok, enough self pity! Carrying on....

as soon as I get rid of the spring challenge I can work on the scrappy that qualifies as a UFO just barely. After that it will be the navy UFO I promise...sort of. One thing can really muck up the works. Who knew I would have so much trouble making, "made fabric". I can't seem to keep it flat no matter how I sew it. Geeze

Great finishes!
1 UFO top finished! I was given the baby quilt last summer to enlarge it. I chose colors for the borders and then it got put away when I started my son and future DIL's wedding quilt. I found it last month when I was going through boxes and rearranging my sewing area. I needed to find new colors for the borders because I must have used them for another project. Lol!
It will be given back to the charity to sandwich, etc.
I didn't get it smooth on my design wall but it has straight seams and is 40" by 44". The colors aren't very true because the light green does blend with the ferns.

Finally finished my UFO for April. No pictures yet as I squeaked in under the wire about 20 minutes ago! It's a baby quilt I started over a year ago for charity. It's been "that one"--you know the kind-- fraught with one problem after another. I should call it Thorn in my Side.
Anyway, sheer determination pushed me to finish it so I could get another little "toot toot!!". I'll try to post pics after I label, wash, and give it its final fussing-over.

And the PDF pattern is here:

It was a lot of fun to do, but even more fun to see how Oakley loved getting on it with his toy truck!
