I have two bulbs out in my dressing room. I bet I could find a third. Etsy order?? Finished quilt - did that, too.

You know when fabric gets used, it must be replaced...you know the one "out", one "in" idea of buying...or is it the other way around....

Glad to hear you are home now! I think a Get Out of Hospital exemption should be granted to you!! Enjoy!

I have to admit a fall off the wagon-even though it happened last week. I think, in light of some exemptions I've seen here, I could claim one. On Sept. 4 driver turned left in front of me & I hit the car. My car is totaled & I've been borrowing cars from family & friends to go to the after-school programs which started last week. So last Wednesday, I bought some Halloween fabric and some fall color to make placemats. One side will be Halloween & the other will be good for Thanksgiving. But I got the Halloween fabric for free since I had a $20 gift card to JoAnn's. Good coupons also made a dent, so I got 3 yards of fabric & 4 spools of thread for $15.00. Not bad, and much-needed therapy after my wreck. My wrists suffered 2nd degree burns from the airbag. They've given me a lot of pain and are still sensitive from the huge blisters peeling.

Oh my goodness, Conchalea..... How awful!! So glad you walked away from that with only one injury. When I first started reading it I feared you were on your Harley. Sucks big time about your vehicle, tho. Well deserved shopping spree and an awesome buy. Rest well and don't push yourself too hard. Hugs!!!

Conchalea: So sorry to hear about your accident. I didn’t know airbags could do that much damage to a body.

Conchalea, sure you deserve an exemption! That must have been scary! Harrah for airbags! I heard that you can have broken fingers also when they explode, but they do save from serious injury.

The newest suggestion is always have your hands at the bottom of the steering wheel with your palms down to protect yourself from those airbags. It's another thing to remember! Our poor old heads... It's tough stuffing more stuff in them!

The airbag powder burned my lungs in an accident. One lung collapsed - airbag or impact? Broken ribs. Airbag or impact? Late 2009 and I still dislike that corner. I'm glad you weren't seriously hurt.
