I'm with you, Teen. Our remodel is dragging on waaaayyy longer than I thought it would. It's driving me crazy. Stuff everywhere, nothing where it belongs and what a mess! Last section of drywall in bathroom is in, only the mudding/sanding and repeat left. Hopefully after that, I will dare to take my sewing machine out of storage and try to work around tools/cans of paint/drop cloths/boxes with lights, toilet, and just plain junk!

Great scrappy JJ...
Went through the scraps last night. A couple of members are doing a string session and need reds and blues. They will get those pieces from my newly acquired scraps. That will take care of some of them...going to go through some of my own to add to their pile!

That's a great idea Ok. Perhaps you can send some of scraps on their way and you have new ones without adding to the stash total.
I struggle with scrappy quilts myself but after putting a few together, I find I enjoy the challenge of the quilt. Of course others might call it controlled scrappy.

Well, my left leg slipped off the wagon and I need a hand back up. Bluprint sent me an email today telling me of their attempt at clearing out their shelves. And they had some yardage that goes with a layer cake that I already have, but not some extra pieces to go with it. I had found a perfect free pattern the other day to use for it. So I just "had" to pick up more backing fabric and a couple coordinating for the setting triangles. But I did find a bolt of tan in my stash that works perfect for the background, so it is a partial stashbuster.

Thanks, SillySusan, I will move to the inside of the wagon after my package arrives. I didn't it consider it a complete fall since the purchase was to be added to something already in the stash. This moratorium thing is way harder than I ever expected it to be. Either that or I am just weak weak weak.

JJ, omgoodness, your scrappy is gorgeous. I love scrappy quilts. But, I do have a hard time really letting go sometimes. I will have to try out the scrap bag technique. Because, you scrappy is off the charts!!
Oh gran, I think you did a really good job considering. And, at least it goes with something you already have on hand. Sounds like you have another project in line. Keep using up your stash. I just know your going to reduce your stash this year. My hand is reaching out to help you back in the apple cart.
