Panchita, I saw moosestashquilting.com posted a penguin quilt and used an attic window setting so that is an option. I am wondering if this pattern was also designed with the same Crafters Edge cutter or whatever fancy cutting machine, as the penguins look quite similar.

I sent my picture in to the designer as I do each month, and received an email back saying the setting design will be ready in January.... hard to wait now

Ooo I do like the setting that moosestash has done.

I have cut out my penguin, but not yet fused him. Preparations for DS's birthday on Friday are taking priority (also trying to get my Christmas posting of letters/presents done). But Saturday I hope for more penguin progress.

December block attached, also with a photo of all of my blocks together, in month order except for 2 I flipped to avoid 2 sets of red accessories being next to each other

I'm really pleased with how they look, and will be intrigued to see what the designer's ideas for finishing are, but am quite happy to be patient until Jan - there is a lot going on for the rest of this month!!!

I see she posted a sneak peak at 2021 .... it will be monkeys.....I really don't need another project....but will probably make it too.

Well, I received my email with the block setting and have decided that it is too "heavy" for my liking. I am putting them together with a simple sashing and borders. Picture posting on this site has become a real chore for me ... sometimes my ipad will keep the ads away long enough to post, sometimes not, bleah! My ipad is old so won't let me put the same adblocker on it, that I have on this old PC..... oh well... not a huge problem, just a time waster!

That looks great ThimbleBug. I too have a different plan, actually quite similar to yours.
In the middle of a four-patch that needs to get done first though.
Will post when I can.
